European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as “Euro-English”.

In the first year, “s” will replace the soft “c”. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

George W Bush, Summit-ul Nato Bucuresti: Romania are nevoie de scutul anti-racheta. Cea mai mare amenintare pentru Romania este acum Iran-ul. Nu este un citat, ci reproducerea mea, dar asta a spus, de departe, cel mai idiot presedinte al SUA de pana acum (desi Woodrow Wilson cu Federal Reserve System este si el prime candidate, numai ca el a recunoscut prostia). Treaba in presa nu prea a fost la fel. Evident presa preia ce ii este dat mai ales daca vine din State si suna si bine. Si oricum titluri de genul Rice: Iranul “a depasit limita“ se vand bine, asta e din “prezidentiosul“. Pe mine nu ma enerveaza ca Americanii sunt idioti, cretini, fara circumvolutioni (da, generalizez din nou!) si pierd trilioane de $$$.
